Light
A wedding during the day or at night always has a special light. During daytime you will find the perfect light to out stand in a natural way the floral decoration, the colouring of the table set up or the colour of the appetizers.

If you celebrate your wedding during the night, the artificial illumination will allow you to create unique spaces, giving more importance to the atmosphere created around the light. Plus, the sunset may be the protagonist at the reception of guests.

Temperature
Celebrating a wedding during daytime or at night also has its differences of temperature. But it depends on the moment of the year and place in the world in which you marry.
Winter and autumn
Our experience, with couples that get married in Spain, mainly in Andalusia, is that the weddings that are celebrated in winter or autumn are usually programmed during the day.The sun is the great protagonist that illuminates and gives the ideal temperature, for example, for the reception of guests. To taste the menu or buffet chosen indoors is the best option to avoid typical climate problems of the season.
It is advisable to choose a place that will allow you to celebrate inside when celebrating an evening wedding in the fall or winter. This way we assure to enjoy the celebration as long as we want.

Spring and summer
During spring and summer, good weather is predominant. Temperature rises and, even more in Summer, weddings during the day or at night are celebrated outside (gardens, patios, etc)
The temperature during the day, specially the last days of Spring and along the Summer, is usually high enough to make us choose between two options:
– a wedding during the night.
– a wedding at an air-conditioned place.
These options give us the opportunity of enjoying the set up and gastronomy chosen for the occasion. Theme zones around refreshing aperitifs, like our Gin Tonics bar, is a great option for these seasons.

Rain can appear and spoil all what we had prepared for the occasion.

In Andalusia, between the months of July and September, in rare occasion rain has surprised us. For the rest of months, if we choose to celebrate outdoor, it is always advisable to have a ‘plan B’ (indoor) prepared that will allow to enjoy gastronomy and celebrate the wedding without trouble.
Gastronomy
Essential for a unique occasion. Celebrating a wedding at daytime or during the night also has its differences when it comes to the gastronomy that will accompany in that very special day.
In those weddings that are celebrated at night, we recommend our clients to choose a gastronomic configuration that will allow the guests enjoy the event with products of easy digestion. Cold or warm appetizers (depending on the season), fish and natural drinks make a great option to celebrate a nighttime wedding.

If you are going to celebrate your wedding during daytime, the menu you will choose invites you to more diversity, but we advise you to keep in mind the month of your celebration. If it is Summer, we always propose a welcoming cocktail and a service of cold appetizers. Guests will appreciate it.
