Jesus and Yara’s wedding at Mijas Costa. An unforgettable memory

Yara & Jesus’ wedding was the perfect scene where at Goyo Catering we were able to recreate the most profound Andalusian sophistication. The event started in the afternoon, when the sun still shines bright in the month of September, and lasted till the night, when every detail of elegance and design began to gain relevance after leaving behind a close and intimate ceremony with natural countryside reminiscence.

Our catering team focused the attention on Mediterranean, Andalusian and Malaga’s gastronomy from the appetizers cocktail to the served dinner. The prelude: a marquee where white was predominant in contrast with the colour of the land. While the waiters went around with the appetizers, the guests could choose drinks to start to celebrate.

The newly weds chose grey as the colour to harmonize with distinction the Andalusian farmhouse Finca Los Ortejones at the Costa del Sol where the celebration took place.

The key to the design was to apply refinement without recurring to eccentricities, giving value tonaturalness and simplicity. This style was taken to gastronomy by our team that presented a menu that had as a main course our Red Shrimp Carppacio with Black Cuttlefish Tagliatellis, Octopus Taco, Red Pepper and Crunchy Piquillo Pepper with Vinaigrette of Roe Caviar.

The splendorous point ended with a grand desserts buffet that surprised the guests. All types of pastries, together with our semi-cold ice pops of Pistachio and Raspberry Cream and Sacher Cake, as seen in the photo, accompanied a wedding cake that combined the romantic and classic style with folklore details and wild decorations, maintaining the smart and eleganceof the event.

Great centrepieces were used to convert into pyramidal temples of taste the different spaces for the desserts buffet. Settled in various levels, the variety of colours was very attractive. It became an irresistible tour between fruit and the most distinguished pastry. There was also a coffee and tea station.

The shining smile of the newly weds, that didn’t doubt dancing with grace while everyone looked, matched with the delight of the guests that saw themselves surrounded by the highest exposure of the ‘chic’ Andalusia.
